G. Bianco, 2019
I just realized I never wrote a review for this book??? HOW DID I FORGET THAT?!? So, I’m rectifying it now and sharing the amazing that is Abby Jimenez’s The Happy Ever After Playlist. Artist Sloan Monroe just can't seem to get her life on track. But one trouble-making pup who randomly jumps into her car with a "take me home" look in his eyes is about to change everything. With Tucker by her side, Sloan finally starts to feel more like herself. Then, after weeks of unanswered texts, Tucker's owner reaches out. He's a musician on tour in Australia. And bottom line: He wants Tucker back. Well, Sloan's not about to give up her dog without a fight. But what if this Jason guy really loves Tucker? As their flirty texts turn into long calls, Sloan can't deny a connection. Jason is hot and nice and funny. There's no telling what could happen when they meet in person. The question is: With his music career on the rise, how long will Jason really stick around? And is it possible for Sloan to survive another heartbreak? I read this book back in November and I cannot believe I’m posting this review now!?!? Wow I really dropped the ball… Anyway, I binge read this book within 24 hours and I didn’t regret it one bit. I completely fell in love with Sloan and Jason’s story and literally didn’t want this book to end! This book had me laughing and crying (no joke I was reading this book on my lunch break and started crying at my desk) and I just think it’s a book everyone should read! This book was a 5 star read for me and if you haven’t read any of Abby Jimenez’s fabulous books then THIS IS YOUR SIGN TO DO SO!
